Artist's Comments
Initially this piece was inspired by Muramasa: The Demon Blade, But shortly afterward I was introduced to Owl city: Fireflies, which I instantly fell in love with and heavily influenced the piece to the point of how it is now. (This is of course considering the fact that I was listening to it practically throughout the whole painting process.)
Entered this piece in the Soundforms and Artwaves Contest. I love how the cool and warm colors blend so nicely together, and nothing is extravigant, the eye is carried perfectly through the whole picture, flowing, and beautiful. This is truly amazing!

  This is different from anything I have seen so far, unique. I really like how you bound in the Fireflies as soulfoul "lamps", shining in the dark in a balanced glow. And lovely Blue tones!!
 -- Life and Dream are of the same ingredients.  Oh I LOVE Owl City: Fireflies.
